Dr. Lauren Pfendler graduated with her doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in 2013, after completing her undergraduate education at Boston University with a degree in Marine Biology. She served in the United States Air Force for 7 years upon graduation from Optometry school. While in the Air Force, Dr. Pfendler specialized in primary care optometry, contact lenses, and pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and PRK surgeries. Dr. Pfendler was stationed in various locations across the country including Alaska and Hawaii. She will continue to serve as a member of the Air Force Reserves at Peterson AFB now that she has moved to Colorado Springs. Hobbies include running, cycling, hiking, horseback riding, and caring for her two rescue dogs. Dr. Pfendler is very excited to practice here at Peak View Optometry and to serve her patients with the very best care!
