Dr. Cho was born and raised in the East Coast. She received her B.S. degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry and was granted the Southwest Contact Lens Scholarship upon graduation. After receiving her degree, Dr. Cho completed her formal residency training at the Southern California College of Optometry in specialty contact lenses, with an emphasis on keratoconus, myopia control, and dry eyes. She was then awarded the Dr. Suzanne Tran Residency Award and will be the first recipient of the Rhonda Robinson Residency Award at the Annual AAO Conference 2021. Day to day, Dr. Cho enjoys quality time with family and friends, going to church, coastal hikes, swimming, and pursuing fitness goals. However, her longstanding passion lies in medical mission trips where she provided eye exams and glasses to impoverished communities in Cambodia, Mexico, Honduras, and Peru.
