Dr. Pallini (formerly Catuneanu) graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2018. She demonstrates a passion for providing extraordinary patient care and strives to create a positive experience during every visit. She enjoys taking the time to thoroughly educate each patient about their eye health status. During her training, she completed an ocular disease rotation in Dallas providing medical-based eye care with an emphasis on specialty contact lenses, glaucoma, diabetes, and retinal disease. Dr. Pallini has also received specialized training in corneal conditions as well as management of LASIK and cataract post-operative care. She is a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society and has also been a volunteer for various programs including The Special Olympics and See to Succeed. In her spare time, she loves traveling, hiking, exploring new eateries and spending time with her husband and family.

She was really kind and engaging. She also took me through the new eye exam that reads the back of your eyes and explained the current health of my eyes. I will keep going back to her for my checkups and Rx.

Dr. Catunean provided tremendous service. I was having issues with my new glasses and she provided a follow-up exam to ensure there were no changes. Turns out the glasses were misaligned and everything was resolved to my satisfaction. Much appreciated!

She doesn't listen to patient needs resulting in multiple visits to get the correct prescription. After talking with some of the office staff, that seems to be a common occurrence.

Dr Catuneanu and her staff were excellent. Chance was very calming and explained everything to me for my exams with him. The office staff was very, very good. I am sorry I did not get their names. I would say it was the most enjoyable and thorough exam in my life (over 7 decades)

Dr. Catuneanu spent an enormous amount of time with me today. She worked diligently to determine why I was having such issues with my new eyeglasses and ultimately discovered that the axis in the right lens was off by several degrees which can make a big difference when one has an astigmatism like I do. I'm so very grateful for Dr. Cataneanu's patience and persistence at figuring out the problem. In addition, she told me I was showing early signs of cataracts, which is NOT what the previous Dr. had told me just a couple of weeks ago in the initial exam when I asked if I had cataracts. I appreciate her gentle candor and thoroughness. I highly recommend her.

It was a pleasant surprise to have Dr. Catuneanu for my eye exam. She was very thorough for sure. I would recommend Dr. Catuneanu and her professional and pleasant staff to anyone. I think I finally found the doctor. Her office is in the Costco is a plus!

Great experience! Probably the best eye exam I've ever had. Very thorough. Dr. Catuneanu and her staff explained everything very well. My husband saw her and got new glasses about 6 months ago. It was the third set in 2 years and the first time that he really felt like the new glasses were helping him to see better. I am excited to get my new glasses and see if they do as much for me.

Dr. Catuneanu seems like a good doctor. But I dont know if i will use costco again. I was kept waiting for 40min and the cost was double what was advertised. It was $120 for contact lens but they made me pay an addition fee for eyeglass exam even though i wasnt wanting eyeglasses.

Dr was great , front desk staff was new and did not know my insurance didn’t cover the exam until we were done with the exam, put blame on the last employees whom do not work there anymore stated that notes in chart were not correct. Disappointed and will not be back. Took 20 min for her to get in touch with the manager and decided they would request a back dated referral and notified me that next time I should get a referral first. When I was never told I needed a referral. Not a good experience.

Very pleasant, thorough, non-pressure experience, since all product is purchased independent of the optometry practice, through the adjacent Costco eye center. Staff & Dr. alike are helpful, pleasant and thorough. The only negative is the electronic patient record, which has a very unfriendly, non-intuitive interface, even for someone like me with a ton of exposure to technology. Staff, again, was helpful in navigating the patient record.

Very thorough. Good explanation of options (different types of lens, brands). Only hard part was "look at my ear" and her hair covered it. Anyway, will return next year. I can see better now.

All I expected to find in an efficient conducted eye exam accompanied by a friendly staff. The Doctor was very attentive, took time to explain procedures and answer my questions. I was very comfortable though out my appointment with the staff and Doctor Catuneanu.
